The Superior Sweepstakes Committee invites you to enter your stallion in our 2025 Stallion Auction.
The Superior Sweepstakes offers the largest payouts available in breed history. In the first three events, the sweepstakes paid out $828,900 to weanlings, with an additional $71,000 to be paid out to foals born in 2024 for the Superior Performance Incentive.
In 2025, the total payout will be $362,400, with $72,000 going toward the 3YO Performance Incentive. The 2025 Superior Sweepstakes Weanling Champion will take home $79,860.
Only two foals per stallion are eligible to show in this event. The winning bidder of each stallion service will be allowed to enter one weanling into the sweepstakes class. The stallion owner/donor will also earn a nomination to enter one of their foals by that stallion into the sweepstakes class. Each nomination holder may declare up to five expected foals by the stallion donated or purchased, from which they may choose one to compete in the sweepstakes.
We would like to welcome Shanna Gish and Jim Taylor to the Superior Sweepstakes Committee for 2025. Shanna and Jim have decades of experience, and bring their knowledge of breeding and showing countless World Champions to take the Superior Sweepstakes into the future.
